Scan2Pad®

Scan2Pad® is an Image Access mobile app for wireless control of Scan2Net scanners from iPads, Android tablets, and other mobile devices. In the app, users can start scans, change parameters, edit scans, and export them to PDF or to the device’s photo library (JPEG). According to the manufacturer, the scans are not sent to the cloud but remain local and confidential.

The app requires a Scan2Net scanner with the Wi-Fi hotspot option installed: BookTEK, WideTEK, and their OEM versions with firmware 6.30 or later are supported. The connection is made via a QR code, by selecting the scanner’s Wi-Fi network, or by entering the IP address and confirming the session ID shown on the scanner’s screen. For BookTEK 5 book scanners, Scan2Pad is included with the Kiosk version and is an option for the Basic and Professional versions.
