Overview

The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF is a 36″-wide color CIS scanner that works as the scanning module of MFP systems with wide-format printers: fast scanning, copying, and archiving. It is supplied in five bundles (MF1–MF5): the scanner with a stand for a specific printer or a mobile stand, and a touch monitor — for Canon, HP, and Epson printers.

Built-in closed-loop color calibration ensures optimal copies for the selected printer–paper combination, and ScanWizard is fully integrated with the printer: media and print quality selection, ink level monitoring. All required software keys are preinstalled. The manufacturer calls this solution the fastest MFP at the best price on the market.

The Canon TX stand mounts on top of a Canon TX-3000/4000 or iPF 4000(S) printer: only 13 parts (assembly without a service engineer), slides forward and backward; 21″ touch monitor on a screen bridge mount.

MF2 — Canon LFP printers

Compatible with all Canon wide-format printers: sturdy WT36-STAND mobile stand; 21″ touch monitor on a screen bridge mount.

MF3 — HP DesignJet and PageWide

Sturdy WT36-STAND mobile stand; 21″ touch monitor on a screen bridge mount.

MF4 — Epson printers

WideTEK adjustable stand: height from 880 to 1180 mm, suitable for printers of any width, with the power supply, network switch, and power strip in the lower crossbar; 22″ touch monitor on a sturdy adjustable mounting arm.

MF5 — Canon TM-300

The two-part Canon TM stand mounts on top of the Canon TM-300 printer, following its contour; 21″ touch monitor on a screen bridge mount.

The scanning speed depends on the resolution and color depth settings. In grayscale scanning, WideTEK scanners use photometrically correct white light; this produces the best possible image quality.
