WideTEK 36

Overview

The WideTEK 36 is a professional sheet-fed CCD scanner for wide-format documents up to A0 portrait (914 mm), with 1200 dpi resolution and operation right at the scanner via the built-in PC. The WideTEK 44 (1120 mm) and WideTEK 48 (A0 landscape, 1220 mm) extend the same CCD design to wider originals; the 44 model can be expanded to 48″ at any time with an upgrade key.

The series is designed for applications where image sharpness and accuracy matter. The background drum is interchangeable: the standard black drum is for high contrast, the white one for sepias and film-based documents.

The scanning speed depends on the resolution alone. WideTEK scanners always scan in full color, even if bitonal output is selected; this produces the best possible image quality.
