Overview
The BookTEK 5 V2A and V3A (Automatic) are planetary book scanners with a motorized V-shaped glass plate for gentle yet high-throughput digitization of books and bound documents. The V2A accepts originals up to 460 × 620 mm (A2+), and the V3A up to 390 × 480 mm (A3+). They are suitable for both large and small projects.
The glass plate moves at speeds from 19 to 113 mm/s over a total travel of 25 cm and gently flattens the original in the V-shaped cradle; the contact pressure is individually adjustable. The glass plate can be removed and installed tool-free in two steps, and the cradle also works in flat mode.
