WideTEK 36CL

Overview

The WideTEK 36CL is an economical and very fast color sheet-fed CIS scanner, a fully standalone system for wide-format documents up to A0 portrait (914 mm) at a resolution of 1200 dpi. The same CIS platform is used for the WideTEK 48CL for A0 landscape (1220 mm) and the WideTEK 60CL for widths up to 60″ and documents up to 12 mm thick.

The series is designed for intensive scanning, copying, and archiving where throughput at an affordable price matters. Special transport rollers apply minimal pressure to the document, and transparent document carriers provide additional protection for fragile originals. The scanner connects directly to Canon, HP, and Epson wide-format printers.

The scanning speed depends on the resolution and color depth settings. In grayscale scanning, WideTEK scanners use photometrically correct white light; this produces the best possible image quality.
