Overview

The BookTEK 5 V2 Semiautomatic is a planetary book scanner built as a production system with 600 dpi resolution. Its self-adjusting V-shaped cradle and motorized glass plate make it possible to scan books, magazines, posters, and bound documents up to A2+ format.

In V-mode, the book opens at a gentle 120° angle, which reduces stress on the spine; with the optional flat glass plate, the scanner works in flat mode. The glass plate shifts horizontally for precise alignment with the spine. The scanner is designed for high-quality, fast digitization in 24/7 operation.
