Overview

The BookTEK 5 V1A Professional is a book scanner for professional digitization of formats up to A1+ (635 × 914 mm). It combines a CCD line camera with laser autofocus, a self-leveling cradle, and a motorized glass plate. The scanner is designed for libraries, archives, and institutions that hold valuable documents, from fragile manuscripts to heavy folios.

The cradle holds books up to 30 kg and can be raised by 20 cm; it works in flat mode or in V-mode with a 140° opening angle. The motorized frameless glass plate is height-adjustable and opens to any specified angle, and the contact pressure can be precisely adjusted up to 10 kg. According to the manufacturer, it is the most compact A1 scanner in the industry.
